the smell of library books when the pages are yellowing, the patterns leaves make through the window on the wall, the joys of procrastination, trying to achieve the perfect sleep, which would be warm and slowly awakened from. speaking dutch, writing english, dreaming bilingual, contemplating the ceiling because the effort of getting up for lectures is oh, too much. thinking about my sharp elbow digging into the back of slow walkers on the south bridge, thinking about too much in general because i have too much time on my hands. arriving at lectures to find they were worth waking up for. thinking not much at all because alcohol depletes the brain cells. thinking i should be more worried about my rapidly cell-losing brain...
